All of biomedical science is an outgrowth of these 2 fundamental disciplines relating to form and function. Although the anatomy and physiology classrooms and laboratories have since been relocated, the legacies of Vesalius and Harvey still loom large on the main quadrangle of Harvard Medical School. Directly opposite on the other side of the plaza, one sees Building C, originally reserved for the study of physiology. On one side of the main quad, adjacent to the administration facility, one finds Building B, originally dedicated to the study of anatomy. 1 Building A, now known as “Gordon Hall,” is the administrative center.
The first 3 structures of the newly constructed site, designated Buildings A, B, and C, were situated together at the top of the main quadrangle (and still stand today). NTS offers a comprehensive “Train the Trainer” program for many of its most popular courses. The course is also designed to give students the confidence to respond to adult, child and infant emergencies. The CPR, First Aid and AED seminar is designed to teach basic knowledge, skills and training related to basic first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED). OSHA recommends the OSHA 30 Hour Construction course as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers as it provides intermediate classroom coverage of the hazard recognition and worker safety. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction is designed to address construction hazards. OSHA 30 Hour Construction & General Industry The course is designed to meet OSHA mandates with respect to required and elective topics. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction course is designed to provide employees with an introduction to OSHA as well as cover specific hazards in the construction industry. OSHA 10 Hour Construction & General Industry For those employees that will be working in confined spaces, the class will also address duties and responsibilities of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) required positions. The Confined Space General Industry seminar is designed to provide students with an awareness of the 1910.146 standard. For those employees that will be working in confined spaces, the class will also address duties and responsibilities of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) required positions.Ĭonfined Space General Industry Awareness The Confined Space Construction seminar is designed to provide students with awareness of the 1926.1200 standard. For those employees that an employer wishes to be a Competent Person the class will provide the technical education component of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Competent Person requirements. The Competent Person for Excavation Safety seminar is designed to provide students with an awareness of the 1926 Subpart P Excavation Standard as well as an introduction to current protective system design and selection.
